Ghanaian musician Black Sherif left the event grounds at the University of Mines and Technology (UMAT) in Tarkwa following a shocking incident amidst his performance.
A viral video on social media shows that the musician while performing on stage witnessed an unfortunate incident where two fans were electrocuted while enjoying his performance.
The electrocution was due to inappropriate planning and safety measures at the event grounds.
Black Sherif upon witnessing the incident and disturbed by what he saw, abruptly stopped his performance and left the venue, expressing dissatisfaction with the safety concerns
In a video that quickly went viral, Black Sherif was seen heading directly to his car despite pleas from fans and organisers to continue his performance.

Black Sheif and his team are yet to officially issue a statement on the matter. The organisers of the event have not yet commented on the matter.
Social media fans have expressed their support for Black Sherif’s decision emphasising that human life is more important. Unconfirmed reports suggest that one of the electrocuted persons has recovered while another is in critical condition.
