The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) has said the colleges of education across the country will remain open despite two months of no academic activity.
The Director General of GTEC, Professor Ahmed Jinapor in a statement on Friday August 16, said the Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has not given any directive to close down the schools.
Students have been pushing for a shutdown of the schools after two months of no academic activity.
