The Vice President and flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has intensified his campaign efforts in the Eastern Region, seeking support ahead of the 2024 elections.
During his tour, Dr. Bawumia engaged with the electorates in the Yilo Krobo Constituency, urging them to vote for him on December 7 to introduce innovative ideas for the country’s development.
Addressing the crowd, Dr. Bawumia criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer, John Mahama, stating that voting for Mahama would be equivalent to opting for a “second-hand president.”
He emphasized the need for new leadership with fresh ideas, saying, “If you vote for Mahama, you won’t see him again. He will go on retirement. This election, we want a brand-new person with brand-new ideas, vision, and innovations.”
