A group of NPP delegates within the Bosome Freho Constituency of the Ashanti Region have threatened to deal with some saboteurs who want to sabotage the recently elected Parliamentary Candidate, Nana Kwame Asafo Adjei Ayerh.
They have therefore cautioned those individuals to desist from tarnishing the reputation of their recently elected Parliamentary Candidate.
According to the aggrieved delegates, these individuals, led by one Yaw Amoah Gyami, together with some faceless persons within the party are creating confusion within, with the sole aim of negatively affecting the fortunes of the party.
According to the group, Yaw Amoah took the candidate to court to challenge his eligibility as the PC, but lost the case as the court ordered him to pay an amount of Gh¢15,000 to the delegates for the damages.
The delegates said it is very worrying that Mr. Amoah is now spreading information that the parliamentary candidate has been injuncted by a high court, which is not the case.
“He was asked by the court to pay Ghc15,000 after he had sent the PC to the court challenging his eligibility because the court found his claims were baseless. Now he’s going about with the claims that the PC has been injuncted by the high court. He should come out with the injunction letter he’s claiming. It is never true.”
They have warned the saboteurs to desist from such evil acts or face their wrath.
“We want to state it emphatically that our PC is a credible candidate and any such attempt to tarnish his reputation would never succeed. We dare Mr. Yaw Gyami to come out with a letter to prove his court injunction claims,” they said.
