Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said he has a vision of a safe, secure, prosperous Ghana.
This vision, he said, is powered by the intellect and skills of her citizenry and anchored on reforms in all sectors of our daily lives including education, the economy and social safety nets.
Dr Bawumia said he shared this vision with residents of Bawku Central, Garu, Tempane and Pusiga constituencies on Saturday, July 27 when he continued his constituency-focused nationwide campaign tour.
“I shared my vision of a safe, secure, prosperous Ghana powered by the intellect and skills of her citizenry and anchored on reforms in all sectors of our daily lives including education, the economy and social safety nets. Indeed, it is Possible!” he wrote on Facebook.
At an earlier engagement in Yagaba Kubori, Builsa North and South Constituencies Dr Bawumia said the Chiefs and people such as the Paramount Chief of the Builsa Traditional Area hailed the impact the NPP government has had over the last 7 years.
“Despite a myriad of challenges, this government has introduced and continues to implement many initiatives that have far-reaching impacts, even for generations unborn,” he said.
From the issuance of a National ID Card, through Mobile Money Interoperability, which has enabled access to financial and government services, to Free SHS and TVET preparing Ghana’s youth for the 4th Industrial Revolution, he said “I have ably played an active role in fundamentally reforming the Ghanaian society.”
