Mohammed Alhassan Mankuyeli has pledged to spearhead Samartex’s attack in the upcoming season, aiming to elevate the team to new heights.
While Samartex have demonstrated prolific scoring, they’ve lacked a primary striker. Their goals have been distributed across the team, primarily from the attacking third.
As they prepare for the CAF Champions League, the champions recognise the need for a reliable goal scorer or two high-performing forwards.
Samartex’s offensive lineup receives a dual boost: Seidu Abubakar returns from injury, and Mohammed Alhassan Mankuyeli joins the squad.

Abubakar’s comeback will feel like a new acquisition, while the 23-year-old Mankuyeli is already integrating with the team.
“Participating in this tournament is motivating. I aim to excel in the CAF Champions League, and with our new additions, I believe we can perform well and progress far,” Mankuyeli told 3Sports.
Eager to make an immediate impact, Mankuyeli has asked the club’s supporters to have faith in his abilities. “I want Samartex fans to have high expectations of me. I know they always desire victory, and that’s what we intend to deliver,” he added.
Mankuyeli joins Samartex following an impressive season with RTU, where he netted 11 goals and provided 6 assists.
