A former National Security Advisor Brigadier General Nunoo-Mensah (RTD), has told the Electoral Commission (EC) to be fair to all the parties ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Speaking on the Hot Issues on TV3 Sunday, June 16 with Kemmini Amanor, he stated that for the outcome of the elections to be accepted by all, the elections management body must give the parties equal attention.
“I just pray Jean Mensa and her people will play a fair game,” he said.

In the area of governance and development, Brigadier General Nunoo-Mensah (RTD) expressed his disappointment, with the level of development in Ghana currently.
He says he expected Ghana to be a much better place than it is at the moment.
For him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that have governed the country in the Fourth Republic have failed the country.
He said “I am a disappointed person, I thought Ghana would be a better place than we are today.”

Asked how he would describe politics today, Brigadier General Joseph Nunoo-Mensah answered “It is just to make money.”
