Nigerian music star Tekno has dispelled the ongoing rumour that he received over N1bn in royalties from Kizz Daniel on the popular hit song “Buga.”
The rife speculations claim that Tekno asserted that he had received royalties from Kizz Daniel totalling more than N1bn for their collaboration on “Buga.”
The report added that 50% of every revenue generated from the song is sent to Tekno.
In response to the rumour, Tekno posted on X, formerly Twitter to dismiss what he said was a fake interview and cursed at whoever published it.
“Him money no reach, anybody wey put out that fake interview, thunder fire your mama,” Tekno tweeted.

‘Buga’ was released on 3rd May 2022, it became the most popular song in Nigeria with many people around the world jumping on the challenge for the song.
Notable amongst them was Liberian Ex-President, George Weah whi jumped on the dance challenge during a party rally.
