Emmanuel Annor scored a hat-trick to inspire Nations FC back to winning ways following a nerve-wracking 3-2 victory over Eleven Wonders at the Dr Kwame Kyei Complex.
The hosts, who had not won a game since the opening day, broke the deadlock after 15 minutes following a brilliant sole effort from Annor.
The winger doubled the advantage ten minutes later after firing low past Eleven Wonders goalkeeper from the right side.
The visitors responded just before half time after Frank Awere reduced the deficit to make it 2-1 before the break.
Ten minutes into the second half, Annor struck again to complete his hat-trick during a dominant spell from Nations FC.
However, the Abranekese-based club took their foot off the peddle as Eleven Wonders took the game to them in the final 30 minutes.
Daniel Lomotey headed home with 17 minutes remaining as Eleven Wonders continue to pile the pressure on the hosts.
Despite their spirited effort, Nations held on to secure an important home victory.
