Black Queens midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe has called on Ghanaians to turn up in their numbers to support the team when they face Egypt in the return leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Cudjoe made the heartfelt appeal ahead of the crucial second leg as Ghana look to complete their qualification mission. The Queens head into the tie with a commanding 3-0 first-leg win in Ismailia, thanks to goals from Doris Boaduwaa, Mary Amponsah, and Grace Asantewaa.
“I'm so excited to be here and to be able to ask our fans again for you guys to show up to our game on the 28th at Accra Sports Stadium. It's been over 613 days since we last played our home game and we would love to have every one of you to show up and support us. First of all, we are so grateful for everyone who has following us this past few years. We want to bring all our fans to come and be with us to celebrate the bronze medalist and also to win and hopefully we can qualify to the next WAFCON," she told GhanaWNT.
The Queens resume training on Saturday.
