Black Queens ace Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah insists the team is highly-motivated ahead of their Women's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt in Suez.
The bronze-medalist at the 2024 WAFCON completed preparations for the upcoming encounter on Wednesday in Ismailia, led by coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren.
The game will be the Black Queens' first since finishing third at the WAFCON in Morocco in July and August.
Boye-Hlorkah shared her excitement on reuniting with her teammates and believes the energy in camp signals a positive feeling for the game.
"So, it's been two months since we had the WAFCON, now we're back together in preparation for the Egypt game. It's been good to see everyone's face again, get the group back together with the and had some good session," she said.
“I think what the fans can expect from us good energy, determination and to see the togetherness that we brought together from the AFCON.”
Boye-Hlorkah, who switched nationalities to represent Ghana at international level, signed a contract to join Nottingham Forest in the summer following her impressive performance for the Black Queens.
The 30-year-old has already netted two goals for the Reds in the Women's Super League 2 in England.
