Medeama SC have confirmed AngloGold Ashanti Limited, Iduapriem Mine, as their headline sponsor for the 2025/26 season, strengthening a relationship that has already played a key role in the club’s recent history.
The one-year renewable agreement builds on AngloGold Ashanti’s earlier support of USD 100,000 during Medeama’s 2023 CAF Champions League campaign.
As part of the new partnership, AngloGold Ashanti has tasked the club with becoming a model institution in Ghanaian football, setting the standard on and off the pitch.
Medeama have been urged to target both the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup titles, while also expanding their role in community engagement initiatives to deepen connections with fans and the wider Tarkwa community.
Medeama expressed gratitude for the continued confidence shown by AngloGold Ashanti and pledged to work towards a successful partnership. The club has announced that the official launch of the sponsorship, which will outline the full terms of the deal, will be held in due course.
The agreement is expected to provide Medeama with a major boost as they aim for silverware in the upcoming season.
