
Tarkwa-based Medeama Sporting Club have been charged with a breach of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2025, following their Week 1 fixture against Young Apostles.
The club is alleged to have failed to ensure that all its players had their names displayed on the back of their strips.
Following the charge by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Medeama Sporting Club have until Wednesday, September 17, to respond.
In the game in question, Medeama Sporting Club stormed to a vital 2-0 win against Young Apostles to begin the new league campaign on a positive note.

The victory has propelled the Yellow and Mauve outfit to the summit of the league table with three points and two goals.
The result is expected to boost the confidence of the team ahead of their Week 2 fixture at home against Vision FC.
