
Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Swedru All Blacks have been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for breaching the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2025.
The charge is in connection with the club’s failure to ensure that all their players had their names displayed on the back of their strips during their matchday one encounter against Nations FC over the weekend.
Medeama Sporting Club face the same charge after the fixture against Young Apostles in the opening weekend.
According to a notice from the Ghana FA, both clubs have until Wednesday, September 17, to respond to the charges.
“Medeama SC and Swedru All Blacks have been charged with a breach of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2025, following their respective Matchday One fixtures.
“They are alleged to have failed to ensure that all their players had their names displayed on the back of their strips.
“The Clubs have until Wednesday, 17th September 2025, to respond to the charges,” the notice said.
The charges against the two clubs show the determination of the Ghana FA to enforce its regulations this season.
The football association is doing everything to ensure the league gets back on top as one of the best on the continent.
