Ghana’s Black Starlets have completed their final training session ahead of the upcoming WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship in Côte d’Ivoire.
The team held its last workout on Sunday at the University of Ghana Stadium Annex, putting finishing touches to their preparations before departure.
The squad has spent the past four weeks in camp, building up for the tournament, which also serves as qualifiers for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Led by head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, the Starlets are expected to leave Accra today, September 15, for Yamoussoukro, where they will continue their build-up before the competition kicks off on September 20.
As two-time world champions with a rich pedigree at youth level, Ghana will be looking to use this campaign as a springboard to reclaim their dominance in continental football.
