The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited (TCCBCGL), a subsidiary of the Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC), has relaunched its digital marketplace, ‘MySmartCoke’, to enhance customer convenience and strengthen its connection with Ghana’s fast-evolving online consumer base.
Originally introduced in 2018, MySmartCoke has now been redesigned in partnership with local technology firm Adroit 360 to meet the demands of a more digitally savvy generation. The revamped platform serves as a one-stop online marketplace for Coca-Cola beverages, Voltic Natural Mineral Water and other premium drinks from Imexco, while offering event planning and vendor coordination services through a single, user-friendly interface.
With the updated platform, consumers can place beverage orders, access exclusive promotional bundles and enjoy free doorstep delivery in major cities. A key addition to the platform is the Smart Event Planner AI — an integrated digital assistant that helps users plan events by coordinating with DJs, caterers, decorators and venue providers.
Speaking at the relaunch event in Accra, Bethel Yeboah, Public Affairs and Communications Director at TCCBCGL, said the initiative is a strategic part of Coca-Cola Ghana’s commitment to digital transformation and consumer-centric innovation. “MySmartCoke reflects our commitment to digital transformation and ensuring Coca-Cola remains part of every celebration and refreshment moment,” Mr. Yeboah said.
He emphasised that the platform’s built-in security protocols ensure safe, seamless transactions, making it a trusted space for consumers, businesses and service providers.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Adroit 360, Jacob Kwaku Gyan, lauded the collaboration as an example of how technology can bridge convenience, commerce and local enterprise. “MySmartCoke is more than an e-commerce site, it’s a lifestyle solution that connects consumers and local businesses,” Mr. Gyan said.
The relaunch event brought together event organisers, master of ceremony (MC) networks, vendors and other industry stakeholders. The gathering marked a significant breakthrough in Coca-Cola Ghana’s broader digital engagement strategy, which seeks to integrate technology into every stage of the consumer experience.
The latest move by the company aligns with a growing shift among global consumer goods companies toward direct-to-consumer digital platforms, a trend accelerated by post-pandemic changes in shopping behaviour and the rising influence of e-commerce across Africa. Through MySmartCoke, Coca-Cola Ghana aims not only to simplify beverage access but also to create a holistic ecosystem that supports small event businesses and enhances customer relationships in real time.
