The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man identified as Samuel Amadotor for allegedly publishing false information about Mr. Okatakye Boakye Danquah Ababio I.
This was announced in a press release issued by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) with reference number CID/PAU/VOL.4/10, dated 20th November 2025.

According to the release, the arrest was carried out with support from the National Signals Bureau (NSB) after a formal complaint was filed by Mr. Ababio.

The Police said Amadotor admitted to the offence during interrogation and claimed he was contracted by one Chairman Michael Yeboah to make the false publication.
They are currently searching for Yeboah to assist with investigations.
The statement added that the suspect is in custody and is expected to appear before court on November 21, 2025.
