Kumasi Asante Kotoko beat Berekum Chelsea 1-0 in a hard fought Ghana Premier League week 21 clash at the Baba Yara Stadium, yesterday.
Kotoko have not lost a game since returning to the Baba Yara Stadium in December 2024, and it was all clear that Berekum Chelsea would not be spared.
Both teams shared the spoils 1-1 at Berekum, with Kotoko looking to strengthen their hold on the top spot in the Premier League in the previous round.
It was quite a game that saw the visitors’ talisman, Stephen Amankona, terrorise the Red Army from the blast of the whistle but failed to find the net.
Daniel Adjetey, however, found target for Kotoko from a corner kick in the 75th minute of the game to annex all three points
