
Residents of Kumasi are mourning the demise of a Mobile Money (Momo) Vendor who was allegedly shot dead by armed robbers, in a brazen daylight attack at Krofrom, a suburb of the Garden City.

Identified as Patricia Nimako, the beautiful lady operated a MoMo outlet called Cacious Ventures.
She was shot when the armed robbers, who were on a motorbike, besieged her work place and opened fire. The robbers succeeded in running away with GH¢10,000 cash.
An eyewitness who spoke with the media on condition of anonymity disclosed that he heard an unusual sound which compelled him to come out from his shop.
When he came out, he saw a man wielding a gun and standing around the Momo outlet, with an accomplice waiting on a motorbike.

According to him, in no time he saw Patricia falling on the ground so he decided to chase the attackers, who escaped towards the Dichemso direction.
The eyewitness noted that the deceased tried to resist the attack and was subsequently shot in her hip by the armed robbers.
He continued that some good Samaritans rushed her to Manhyia Government Hospital, but she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
