The Eastern Regional Football Association (ERFA) has congratulated Mr Abubakar Braimah, Chairman of the Kwahu West Municipal Football Association, following his installation and coronation as the Municipal Wala Chief.
The ceremony was held at the Methodist Park in Nkawkaw and brought together traditional rulers, government officials, football administrators and members of Northern communities within the Kwahu Traditional Area. The event was marked by cultural displays and a strong sense of unity.
The ERFA delegation was led by Chairman Linford Boadu Asamoah, accompanied by the Association’s Event Organiser, Bob Tawiah Tagoe, and the Chairman of the Kwahu East District Football Association, Christian Ofosu Ansah.
In his congratulatory message, Mr Asamoah described the coronation as a proud moment for both the Kwahu Traditional Area and football administration in the Eastern Region. He praised Mr Braimah’s leadership, integrity and long-standing service to football development, noting that these qualities earned him respect beyond the sporting community.
Mr Braimah has served Ghana football in several leadership roles over the past decade, including Chairman of the Eastern RFA Interim Management Committee, General Secretary and Vice Chairman of the Eastern RFA. He currently serves as Chairman of the Kwahu West Municipal Football Association.
ERFA expressed confidence that he will continue to promote unity, development and strong leadership in both football and traditional governance.
