Young Apostles ended their five-match winless streak in the Ghana Premier League with a hard-fought win over Karela United on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
It was the hosts' fourth win at the Wenchi Sports Stadium this term which moved them level on points with Karela.
Abdul Ganiyu's 20th minute belter broke the deadlock to put the hosts in front.
Felix Morty pulled parity for the Pride and Passion on 36 minutes after squeezing the ball into the net in amid a scramble in the penalty.
The hosts, however, restored their lead just four minutes into the second half courtesy Issah Nyaabila's strike.
Apostles held on to their narrow lead to secure a crucial win which could help them build momentum.
Karela were also denied a second consecutive win following their decisive victory over Hearts of Oak.
Apostles are away to Nations FC for their next match while Karela United will host Vision FC.
