Black Queens and Brooklyn FC Women star, Jennifer Cudjoe, has hailed her teammates for their performance against the English Women's national team.
The Black Queens suffered a 2-0 defeat to the European champions on Tuesday evening at St Mary's despite putting up a strong display.
Cudjoe produced a solid midfielder performance alongside Grace Asantewaa but goals at either side of the half from Lucia Kendall and Alessia Russo was enough for England.
"Ending December camp on a good test!! Proud of the team and looking forward to continuing building from this game!!" posted Cudjoe on social media after the game.
The friendly encounter is part of preparations for the Black Queens ahead of next year's Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
The veteran midfielder, who played a key role as Ghana finished third at the last tournament is expected to make the team for the competition next year.
The WAFCON tournament will also serve as a World Cup qualifying tournament.
