Ghanaian winger Fatawu Issahaku provided a crucial assist as Leicester City secured a 2-1 victory over Stoke City in their Championship clash at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Fatawu Issahaku played the full 90 minutes and impressed with his energy and creativity on the wing. His moment came in the 44th minute when he threaded a perfect through ball to Patson Daka, who finished calmly to double Leicester’s lead before halftime. The assist sparked loud cheers from the home fans, who appreciated Issahaku’s growing influence on the team.
Earlier, Stephy Mavididi had opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a fine strike after good work from Harry Winks. Stoke pulled one back early in the second half through Bae Jun-Ho’s header, but the Foxes held firm to take all three points.
Fatawu Issahaku has played 15 games, scored three goals and assisted four in the Championship this season.
