Northern City FC forward Wungah Williams has been named the NASCO Division One League Player of the Month for September and October, capping off an outstanding run of form in the early part of the campaign.
The striker delivered consistent and decisive performances, scoring five goals in four matches to power his side’s attacking output. His sharp movement, finishing quality and overall influence in the final third made him a standout performer during the period.
Williams edged WAFA SC captain Evans Adeti and FC AshantiGold ’04 forward Raphael Ankamah to secure the award. His form also earned him two NASCO Player of the Match honours, underlining his importance to Northern City’s strong start to the season.
For his achievement, the in-form striker will receive a NASCO 24-inch television set.
This marks the first time Williams has claimed the Player of the Month award, and his performances place him among the early contenders for end-of-season recognition as the Division One League campaign continues.
