Ghana Premier League referees are still owed salaries beyond week four of the season, according to referees manager Alex Kotey.
The issue remains a recurring challenge for referees across the country.
Kotey acknowledged the delays, but insisted that efforts are underway to address the matter.
He explained that payments for the early part of the campaign had been cleared.
"The issue of non-payment is something we are addressing. Even I have gone for CAF games and they have not paid me, but that is not to say the money will not come. It will be paid," Kotey told Asempa FM.
"Weeks one to four have been paid. I have finished processing that and submitted it to the accounts department."
Kotey said the GFA aims to minimise arrears this season, stressing a renewed commitment to timely remuneration.
“This year, we are making sure we do not owe referees too much,” he said.
The outstanding balances remain a concern for match officials, who continue to manage demanding schedules despite the delays.
