Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito is calling on his players to keep fighting as they prepare for their outstanding league game against Young Apostles.
He believes the team has what it takes to rise again but must start winning games at home to keep their ambitions alive.
Speaking to Asante Kotoko SC TV, Zito explained the support the squad received from management this week.
"Well I think yesterday we had a meeting with the IMC the technical team had a meeting with the IMC. And then the IMC came down to the training grounds and had another meeting with the players they have psych them. They praised them psych them and told them it is not yet lost because we are playing about 35 matches we just played 10 generally."
"But we play about 6 or 8 games so why looking down now we still have to fight. The only problem is we should do every possible to win home matches that is the problem. When you go to away somebody's town and you drew you have done well but coming your home and you play draw I don't think it is good for us.
"So we are working on it seriously we are all worried the situation I find myself inside but this is my destiny and I have to work seriously against it,"
Kotoko currently sit sixth on the league table, five points behind joint leaders Medeama and Heart of Lions.
