Ten-man Vision FC produced a spirited comeback to defeat Eleven Wonders 2-1 in their Ghana Premier League matchday nine clash at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema on Saturday.
Despite a shaky start, Vision showed tremendous character to extend their impressive unbeaten home record, fighting back from both an early deficit and a numerical disadvantage to claim all three points.
The visitors, Wonders, stunned the home fans with an early goal just two minutes after kick-off when midfielder Mathew Amponsah pounced on a loose ball to slot home the opener.
However, Vision responded swiftly - Emmanuel Sanja restored parity six minutes later with a fine finish after a well-worked move.
The game took another twist in the 28th minute when defender Kingsley Appiah was sent off for a second yellow card in quick succession, leaving Vision with ten men for over an hour.
Despite the setback, Nana Agyemang’s side maintained their composure and tactical discipline.
Their persistence paid off in the 60th minute when midfielder Meshack Adjetey fired in the decisive goal to complete a remarkable turnaround.
The victory reinforces Vision’s dominance at home, extending their unbeaten run at the Tema venue to 15 matches, while Wonders remain winless since their return to the topflight.
