Vision FC President, Michael Osekre, has paid a courtesy call on his Angolan counterpart, Tomas Faria, the President of Petro Atletico de Luanda, during the latter’s working visit to Ghana.
The meeting, held in Accra, aimed at fostering a strong partnership between the Ghana Premier League side and the Angolan powerhouse, with both clubs exploring possible avenues for collaboration and mutual development.
Discussions centred on football administration, youth development, and technical cooperation, as the two leaders expressed interest in establishing a long-term working relationship that could benefit both clubs and their respective leagues.
Mr. Osekre reiterated Vision's commitment to building strategic international relationships that align with the club’s vision of growth and excellence.
He emphasized that partnerships with successful African clubs such as Petro Atletico would enhance Vision's technical and administrative capacity.
President Faria, on his part, praised Vision’s steady progress and professionalism, noting that the meeting was a positive step towards deeper cooperation between clubs in Ghana and Angola.
Petro Atletico, one of Angola’s most successful clubs, are regular participants in CAF inter-club competitions, while Vision continue to make steady strides in the Ghana Premier League.
