Asante Kotoko midfielder Hubert Gyau has been named in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League Week 8 Team of the Week (ToTW).
The youngster was in action for the Porcupine Warriors over the weekend in their clash against Karela United and put up an outstanding performance for his side.
In the match played at Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Gyau scored two stunning goals to propel Kotoko to a 4-2 win at the end of the 90 minutes to ensure his team bagged all three points.
After his standout performance, the 20-year-old has been named in the Team of the Week alongside his teammate Peter Amidu Acquah.
In the Team of the Week put together by Fatau Dauda, two players from Hearts of Oak, Ransford Mensah and Hussein Mohammed, were also selected.
Other players who made the cut include Hohoe United goalkeeper Kwaku Musah, Heart of Lions defender Yaw Danso, and Gold Stars striker Sampson Eduku.

Meanwhile, Aduana FC have climbed to the top of the league standings at the end of matchday 8.
The team leads former league leaders Medeama SC by a single point, and two points ahead of Gold Stars and Hearts of Oak, the teams in third and fourth places respectively.
