Swedru All Blacks and Basake Holy Stars will face off in a crucial bottom-of-the-table clash as both teams look to turn their fortunes around in the ongoing Premier League campaign.
The All Blacks sit 14th on the table with three points after a challenging start to life back in the top flight. Ahmed Ibrahim Fathi’s men have managed just one win in five matches, losing four, while scoring five goals and conceding seven, the joint second-most in the league. They will be desperate to respond following a 3-1 defeat to Hohoe United last weekend.
Despite their struggles, All Blacks have shown resilience at home, winning three of their last four home matches in all competitions (W3, L1) and keeping three clean sheets in that period.
Basake Holy Stars, meanwhile, remain winless and sit in the relegation zone. Their 2-0 loss to Young Apostles last weekend was their second straight defeat after beginning the season with two goalless draws. Augustine Evans Adotey’s side are still searching for their first goal of the campaign and have gone 20 away league matches without a win (D4, L15) since September 2024.
This encounter marks the first-ever Premier League meeting between Swedru All Blacks and Basake Holy Stars, with both sides eager to claim a vital victory to lift their season.
