The Black Queens are preparing for a decisive two-legged clash against Egypt in the 2026 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers later this month.
The first leg will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Ismailia–Suez Canal Stadium in Suez, Egypt, with kickoff scheduled for 4:00 PM (local time).
The return fixture is set for Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium, starting at 3:30 PM.
Head coach Kim Lars Björkegren and his team will aim to build on their impressive recent form and secure qualification to the continental tournament in Morocco.
The Queens have displayed notable progress in recent months and are determined to return to the WAFCON stage with renewed confidence and purpose.
Supporters are encouraged to turn up in large numbers at the Accra Sports Stadium to back the team as they fight for a place at the 2026 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
