Head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, is optimistic of a win against FC Samartex in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
The Tarkwa-based club will host the opponent on Saturday, October 18, in a Week 6 fixture of the 2025/26 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
Speaking to Medi TV in his pre-match interview, Ibrahim Tanko noted that the plan is to dominate the encounter and secure all three points at the end of the contest.
“We are playing at home, and like any game we play here, we want to dominate. We want to set the pace, and I think that how we have trained this week, I hope that our game will flow,” Tanko said.
The upcoming Week 6 fixture between Medeama SC and FC Samartex is billed for fireworks, with both teams heading into the game on the back of consecutive wins in their last two matches.
For Medeama SC, a win will ensure they maintain their position at the summit of the Ghana Premier League table.
FC Samartex, on the other hand, will be aiming for victory to break into the top four.
