The Black Stars of Ghana are poised to finish their Word Cup qualifying campaign with a majestic performance against Comoros on Sunday.
Ghana head into the final game of the qualifiers needing just a point to secure their place at the World Cup in North America next year.
The former African champions have enjoyed an outstanding run in the qualifying series, winning seven games, including an emphatic 5-0 victory over the Central African Republic last Wednesday.
Ghana sit top of Group I with 22 points and a whooping eight-goal advantage over second place Madagascar, who have 19 points.
While Ghana engages Comoros on Sunday, Madagascar will be playing Mali and can only usurp the Black Stars by beating Mali with a huge goal difference and hope the West African powerhouse loses.
Ahead of the match, Otto Addo cautioned his Black Stars players and urged to finish the qualifiers in style.
"The other thing is I think we want to end this qualification game with a victory. This is for sure. We want to thank our fans with a victory for their support throughout from day one. Even when we started and things were not looking so good, they backed us. We showed them a lot of clips, they have an understanding of what we want to do and we are going into the game with 100% focus," he said.
Addo will become the first coach to lead Ghana to back-to-back World Cups while the Black Stars make it a fifth appearance at the global showpiece.
