Black Stars held their final training session on Tuesday evening at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes ahead of Wednesday’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic.
All 24 players took part in the session under the guidance of head coach Otto Addo and his technical team, as the group fine-tuned tactics and set-piece routines. The atmosphere in camp was lively and focused, with players showing sharpness and determination to secure Ghana’s place at the next World Cup.
Ghana, who sit top of Group I with 19 points, need a win to confirm qualification before their final group game against Comoros on Sunday. The team arrived in Meknes earlier in the day after camping in Casablanca since Sunday, where they held two intensive training sessions at the Mohammed V Sports Complex.
The final workout was observed by former stars Asamoah Gyan and Stephen Appiah, who urged the players to give their all for the nation. The session concluded with light drills and motivational talks as the team wrapped up preparations for the decisive clash.
