
Ghanaian teen Ryan McAidoo netted his first goal in the UEFA Youth League for Manchester City U19 as the English side defeated AS Monaco U19 in an eight-goal thriller.
The English-born Ghanaian scored five minutes after the break to extend City's lead before Mahamadou Sangare completed his hat-trick in the 5-3 victory.
The Malian forward opened the scoring for the English giants after 13 minutes before Melvin Gomes netted an own goal six minutes later.
Sangare added his second on the half hour mark but AS Monaco pulled one back through Nahel Haddani just before half time.
McAidoo restored City's three-goal lead after the break bit Haddani responded to halve the deficit.
In a dramatic finale, Sangare sealed his hat-trick with a fine finish before Ekene Chukwuani fired in injury time.
Meanwhile, McAidoo has now scored a goal in two games in the UEFA Youth League.
