Accra Hearts of Oak Head Coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, is confident that the Phobians would bounce back against Medeama SC when they clash tomorrow at the Tarkwa Akoon Park on match day 25 of the Ghana Premier League.
He said this after losing his second successive game in the GPL at home to Bibiani Gold Stars on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Coach Ouattara said “the team would quickly put that defeat behind and focus on the defending league champions who stand before us next.”
Speaking after the defeat to Gold Stars, Coach Ouattara again said Sunday’s defeat was one of the harsh lessons football can teach.
“This is what football is all about. Today the boys did everything possible to score but the luck was not there. We missed a lot of goal-scoring opportunities which we paid dearly for.”
“I want to ask the fans to come together with a united front and continue to support the team. They should be in Tarkwa to support the team.”
He further said the target is to get all three points from Medeama FC as they clash tomorrow.
Coach Ouattara stated that the Phobians, currently in 10th position, would take the rest of the upcoming matches at a time but stopped short of promising the title.
“I want to get the players to an appreciable level. When we get to that level, everyone would see for themselves.”
