The head coach of Hearts of Oak, Didi Dramani, expressed his satisfaction with his team’s victory against Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League on Friday evening.
The gaffer was in the dugout on the matchday as the Phobians laboured to secure a 1-0 triumph against the Week 3 opponent.
In the game played at Accra Sports Stadium, a solitary strike from Enoch Asubonteng in the first half sealed the three points for Hearts of Oak, but the host had to battle to keep Eleven Wonders at bay.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Didi Dramani described the contest as a tough one, acknowledging how well the away team played.
Happy with how well his team defended, the Hearts of Oak coach further labelled the win as an important one.
“A team having just one point from their first two games will try to come in strong. They tried to run at us, and we need to be careful. We tried to contain them as well. It’s very important that when you have this type of result, you believe in yourself that you can protect and you can also score,” Didi Dramani said.
Following their second win of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, Hearts of Oak are now top of the league table temporarily, pending the result from the other Week 3 matches this weekend.
