Bibiani Gold Stars forward Samuel Attah Kumi has taken an early lead in the Ghana Premier League 2025/26 top scorers’ chart after the opening round of matches.
Attah Kumi netted twice on the opening weekend to propel the defending champions to victory, making him the only player to have scored more than once in Week 1.
He is followed by several players who all registered a goal each, including Albert Amoah of Asante Kotoko, Dalvin Yeboah of Bechem United, Ebenezer Abban of Heart of Lions, and Emmanuel Annor of Nations FC.
With the season just underway, the race for the Golden Boot promises to be keenly contested, as several of the league’s top strikers are yet to get off the mark.
