New Bechem United head coach, Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway, has described leading the club into the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season as a big task.
The experienced tactician was appointed by the Ghanaian top-flight league outfit in July this year, taking over from Coach Kwaku Danso.
With the new league season starting this weekend, Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway says the challenge ahead is a big one, but he is ready with his players.
“It’s a big task, and not only me but all coaches in the Premier League know it’s a big task. You don’t underrate any Premier League club. We are preparing, and we are getting closer to the first match. We have done a lot, and I believe in my boys. They are going to perform,” Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway told Bechem United TV.
On the opening weekend of the 2025/26 league season, the new coach faces a tough test as his team takes on defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars away from home.
The tough fixture will be hosted at Duns Park on Saturday, September 13, and is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm.
