Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is not in a hurry to leave Leicester City despite the strong interest from English Premier League outfit Everton.
The young winger endured a tough 2024/25 campaign due to an ACL injury but has now returned to full fitness and is ready to make an impact again.
Fatawu lit up the Championship in 2023/24, scoring six goals and delivering 13 assists in 40 matches.
His flair and creativity were key in Leicester’s promotion push, earning him a permanent move after a successful loan spell.
On 1 July 2024, Leicester activated his buy clause and secured him for â¬10 million on a five-year deal, with an additional â¬7 million fee included.
Despite his major injury setback last season, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is highly valued at Leicester City.
Amid the interest from Everton in the past week, sources have indicated that Issahaku remains committed to the English Championship side.
Leicester City are happy to keep the forward, but may be tempted to sanction his transfer if they receive a huge offer from the Premier League side.
For now, Issahaku remains a key member of the Leicester team and will be crucial in the 2025/26 campaign as the team pushes for a return to the top flight.
