Everton has set their sights on Leicester City’s exciting Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, who is eager to rediscover his spark after a challenging season.
The 21-year-old endured a tough 2024/25 campaign due to an ACL injury but has now returned to full fitness and is ready to make an impact again.
Fatawu lit up the Championship in 2023/24, scoring six goals and delivering 13 assists in 40 matches. His flair and creativity were key in Leicester’s promotion push, earning him a permanent move after a successful loan spell. On 1 July 2024, Leicester activated his buy clause and secured him for â¬10 million on a five-year deal, with an additional â¬7 million fee included.
Just weeks later, on 19 August 2024, he made his Premier League debut against Tottenham Hotspur. In the same game, he assisted Jamie Vardy in a 1â1 home draw, showcasing the sharp instincts that caught Everton’s attention.
With a current market value of â¬11 million, Fatawu’s pace, skill, and work ethic could give Everton a fresh attacking edge as they look to strengthen their squad.
