The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has refuted claims suggesting there will be no media coverage of its 31st Ordinary Session of Congress scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
The FA has confirmed that the event will be streamed live across all official GFA platforms, in line with best global practices, ensuring millions of viewers at home and abroad can follow proceedings in real time.
In a statement on Monday, the GFA also announced that a press conference will be held immediately after Congress at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram. This will provide journalists with a comprehensive update on the day’s deliberations and allow for questions from the media.
As of the submission deadline, all 124 Members of Congress had duly registered their delegates for the annual gathering of the football fraternity.
The 31st Ordinary Session will take place at the E.T. Mensah Hall of the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence, commencing at 11:00 a.m.
The GFA urges all members of the press to be seated promptly after the close of Congress to participate fully in the post-event briefing.
