Ghana forward Mohammed Kudus has opened up about how Austrian defender of Ghanaian descent Kevin Danso is helping him to settle in at Tottenham Hotspur.
According to the versatile Black Stars talisman, he speaks Ghanaian local dialect âtwi’ with Danso a lot, a situation that has made it easy for him to connect with his compatriot.
In addition to the assistance from Danso, Kudus adds that every other teammate at Tottenham has helped him to settle down since his move from fellow English Premier League club West Ham United.
"Everybody has helped me a lot. The guys try to speak to me to get the connection on and off the pitch. So far it has been smooth," he explained. "Kevin [Danso] is a Ghanaian so we speak our local dialect (Twi) so it has been easier to connect.
"We talk about everything. Football, life. He just tries to help me because he has been here before me,” Kudus said in an interview as quoted by football.london.
Mohammed Kudus, 25, signed for Tottenham this summer after two seasons with West Ham United.
He is expected to play a key role for Spurs in the upcoming 2025/26 football season.
