Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani Goldstars closing in on former Kotoko attacker Sampson Eduku
Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani Goldstars are on the verge of securing the services of former Asante Kotoko striker Sampson Eduku in the ongoing summer transfer window.The former Tamale City forward is joining the Miners as a free agent following his departure from the Ghanaian giants after a short stint. Eduku was part of the players that exited Kotoko at the end of the season after failing to impress at the club.Having reached an agreement, the experienced attacker is expected to sign a two-year contract with Goldstars with an option to extend.The Miners, who are bent on making a meaningful impact next season has already secured the service of goalkeeper, Kwadwo Osei Bonsu from Accra Lions, Emmanuel Kojo Addy, Emmanuel Ankrah, Emmanuel Agyei, and Emmanuel Fosu Kyei.Following their Ghana Premier League success, the Bibiani-based club has booked a slot in Africa and are expected to represent Ghana in the upcoming CAF Champions League.Domestically, Goldstars will battle to defend their Premier League title and also compete in the Ghana FA Cup competitions.
