Gideon Mensah seeks support from Ghanaians as Black Stars prepare for Chad and Madagascar
[caption id=attachment_1139311 align=alignnone width=1080] Gideon Mensah[/caption]Black Stars defender Gideon Mensah has called on Ghanaians to rally behind the team as they prepare for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.The Black Stars will face Chad on March 21 in Accra and Madagascar on March 24 in Morocco, with the ultimate goal of securing a spot at the 2026 World Cup.Mensah, who was part of Ghana's squad at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, expressed his gratitude for the support Ghanaians have shown the team over the years.Thank you for your support over the years to the Black Stars, he said.However, Mensah emphasized the need for continued support, particularly in the upcoming qualifying games.We've had great results in our previous games, but we will like to urge everyone to continue supporting us and be a pillar behind us... together we can achieve greatness.Ghana is currently in second place in Group I, level on points with group leaders Comoros, after winning two World Cup qualifying games against Mali and Central African Republic in 2024.
