Kelvin Yeboah scores as Minnesota United edge past San Jose

The goal, coming from a set-piece situation, proved to be the difference in a match where San Jose dominated possession (73%) but failed to convert their chances.Despite registering 17 shots and a higher expected goals, the Earthquakes were frustrated by Minnesotas resilient defense and sharp goalkeeping. Minnesota, on the other hand, made the most of their limited attacking opportunities, registering five big chances to San Joses two.Yeboah, who lasted 65 minutes, now has two goals in three MLS appearances this season. With this win, Minnesota United improve their head-to-head record against San Jose to eight wins. They now shift focus to their upcoming MLS clash against Sporting KC on March 16.
