Nations FC owner Dr. Kwame Kyei has warned that no company will invest in the Ghana Premier League if hooliganism continues to plague the competition.His remarks follow the tragic death of an Asante Kotoko supporter, Nana Pooley, who was stabbed during a violent incident at Nsoatre.The clash occurred during a week 19 league match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko at the Nana Koramansah Park, which ended 1-0 in favour of the home side.Dr. Kwame Kyei, a former Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, expressed deep concern over rising violence in local football and called for immediate action.We must all condemn what happened in Nsoatre. Football should unite us as a nation, not promote such barbaric acts, he stressed.He lamented the negative impact hooliganism has on the leagues growth. No investor will be interested in a product like this.In the wake of the incident, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has suspended the Ghana Premier League until further notice, pending investigations into the matter.
