[caption id=attachment_1217079 align=alignnone width=640] Henry Asante Twum[/caption]Communication Director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has opened up about the future of the Premier League following its suspension.Earlier this week, the domestic football governing body announced the suspension of the matchday 20 of the Ghanaian top-flight following violence that rocked the week 19 encounter between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko.The match, held at the Nana Koramansah Park ended 1-0 in favour of the Amanaso-based. The fallout of the crucial game was unpleasant, where a staunched Kotoko fan was stabbed to death.Speaking to Max FM, Henry Asante Twum casted doubt about the immediate return of the Ghana Premier League, saying the FA remains undecided at the moment.For now, the resumption of the Premier League is unknown. The FA has decided to hold onto the competition until further noticeAt this point, the other competitions have not recorded any incident. Nothing has happened in the other leagues. And then also, you don't have to forget there's always the calendar to follow, he said.Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko have pulled out from all football related activities as they seek justice following the death of staunched supporter, Francis Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Nana Pooley.
