Augustine Arhinful slams safety standards in Ghana Premier League after Kotoko fan's death
Former Black Stars forward Augustine Arhinful has criticized the poor safety measures at Ghana Premier League match venues, arguing that the persistent violence is driving fans away from the local game.Speaking to Sporty FM, Arhinful referenced the recent tragic stabbing of an Asante Kotoko fan at a league match, questioning why families would risk attending games under such conditions.I cant blame Ghanaians who focus on the foreign leagues. If people are dying at the stadium, why should I take my kids there? he said.He also took aim at the Club Licensing Board, accusing it of failing to enforce strict safety and infrastructural standards. The Club Licensing Board in Ghana is weak.
