Four Kotoko Players charged for unprofessional conduct at Nsoatreman
Asante Kotoko's Justice Blay, along with teammates Mohammed Camara, Gilbani O'Neil Ndongani Samba, and Andres Ntim Manu, have been charged for unprofessional conduct following a violent altercation during their match against Nsoatreman FC on February 2, 2025.The charges are a result of a shocking fight that broke out between players from both teams during the match at Nana Konamansah II Park.Blay and Camara were both shown red cards for their involvement in the altercation, while Samba and Manu also face charges for their actions during the incident.The confrontation, which escalated into punches being thrown, marred an already tense match, contributing to the tragic death of Kotoko fan Nana Pooley.The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is investigating the players' conduct under its Disciplinary Code.The players have until Wednesday, February 5, 2025, to respond to the charges. The GFA is expected to take firm action to maintain the integrity of the league and prevent such incidents in the future.
